Ambitious women often don't need another motivational platform.
They need access.
Access to people.
Resources.
Opportunities.
Knowledge.
Communities that understand where they are trying to go.
HERcelerate was created around that idea: building a community where ambitious women can connect, grow and access opportunities.
When I came into the project, the core identity already existed through the logo, but the digital experience had not yet been fully defined.
Brown House Productions had the work and expertise.
What they needed was a professional digital home that could communicate that value to potential clients.
The website needed to do more than look good.
It needed to answer:
What does Brown House do?
What have they worked on?
Why should I trust them?
How can I contact them?
The goal was to turn the website into a practical sales and credibility tool.

With only the logo available, I also developed a lightweight visual system that could support the website without competing with the existing brand.

The existing digital presence didn't provide the level of presentation and structure needed for a professional production company.
Potential clients needed a simple way to:
Understand the company
Explore previous work
Understand services
Build trust
Find social channels
Make contact
The challenge was creating a polished experience while keeping the website easy to maintain and responsive across devices.
The challenge was to turn an existing idea and visual identity into a clear digital experience.
There was limited design direction beyond the logo.
I needed to determine:
What information mattered most?
How should the story be structured?
What should visitors understand immediately?
How should users join?
How could the page communicate community without overwhelming visitors?

I focused on building a landing page around the journey from curiosity to participation.
Understand → Connect → Join
The page was structured to communicate the mission, explain the value of the community and give visitors a clear path to take action.

A community landing page can easily become a wall of information.
I prioritized the sections that answered the most important questions:
Who is HERcelerate? Who is it for? Why should I care? What do I get?
How do I join?

Credibility needed to be built into the experience.
Let the brand breathe.

Beyond showcasing projects, I recommended features and content structures that would help potential clients understand the company's capabilities and take the next step.
Because the logo was the primary existing brand asset, I created a supporting colour system and visual hierarchy around it rather than introducing an entirely new identity.

The website was designed and tested across different screen sizes, with multiple iterations made specifically to improve mobile and tablet experiences.
The goal wasn't simply to tell people about HERcelerate.
The website needed to convert interest into participation.
That led to a clear form submission flow and accessible social/community links.

The project also gave me another opportunity to explore how much product and visual direction can be created from a very limited starting point.

HERcelerate reinforced one of my favourite parts of product design: turning ambiguity into structure.
I wasn't handed a complete design system, content architecture or detailed specification.
I had to make those decisions.
It strengthened my ability to identify what matters most, create a coherent visual direction and use Framer to turn that thinking into a functioning experience.
